S&P, Dow, Nasdaq futures inch lower Tuesday, lack direction ahead of housing data. Traders continue to watch for any debt ceiling talk developments.


Investors await the debt ceiling discussion


Dollar Peaks at a 6-month High of ¥139 Ahead of Key Events. The FOMC meeting minutes are due tomorrow and the Fed’s favorite inflation measure - PCE index - comes Friday


President Joe Biden and House speaker Kevin McCarthy ended discussions on Monday with no agreement on how to raise the US government’s $31.4-trillion debt ceiling and will keep talking with just 10 days before a possible default.


Nasdaq index on the other hand has pushed higher , It leads the way with a gain of about 0.53%. Whereas the S&P is near unchanged at 0.07 While the Dowjones is still heading down and is currently down with 0.36%.
